Few years ago me and my friends decided to create a platform so that we can present our work, and it kinda grew out and we are presenting you the program of the third edition.
FASHIONCLASH Maastricht is a unique platform in particular for 'young’ and talented designers / artists to present their work to a diverse (inter) national audience. For visitors this is a unique opportunity to discover new talent, make contacts, and to be inspired by the art of fashion.
This year it's all going to take place in a new location, the former Decorfabriek of Mosa that is located on the Meerssenerweg, just behind the Central Station.

FASHION SHOWS
There are several shows with upcoming 'young' fashion designers and this year I will show my new collection as well, but I hope I will make it. Also my friend & partner in crime Nawie Kuiper will show her new collection.
Some designers that showed last year will participate again, like Jacob Kok (NL), Ti + Hann (BE), Lisa Colpaert (BE) and Mascha van Wely (NL). But designers like Femke Agema and Barike will take part for the third time and we are very proud about that.

Every year there are lot of new names and this year FASHIONCLASH catwalk will present Karishma Shahani from India, niOka and MEM Couture from Slovenia, Bojana Jovanović and Kosenec from Serbia, Anna Dudzińska and Lukasz Stepien from Poland, Luciana Teixeira from Portugal, Manon Boertien from, Ferdinand Sebastiaan and OntFront from Holland....and more.

Several 2010 graduates from Holland will show their collections such as Annemarije van Harten (NL), Tessa Wagenvoort (NL), Eunbi Kim (NL), Jivika Biervliet (NL), Diana Tax (NL) and Marie-Lisah Hermkens (NL). Also from ABK Maastricht, Ingo Binder, who won the Henriëtte Hustinx prize and who was selected for Lichting 2010.

The OFFER Berlin will present six designers from Berlin: Ta Ste, Friederike Porscha, Manikó , Moga e Mago, Tata Christiane and

EXPOSITION

Some designers will show their fashio collection in the expo, like Daphne van den Heuvel (NL), Kris Berden (NL), Natascha Plum & Aleksandra Žiravac (SR), Ellis Biemans (NL, Nynke Eggen (NL), Ruby Verhoeven (NL) and Musa Shah (NL). Some designers will take part in the FASHION SHOW program and also in the EXPOSITION, like Femke Agema.
Minna Palmqvist will show her collection but also exhibit a video in the exposition and Iris van Daalen will show her hair jewelry on the catwalk and in the expo.

CLASH PROJECT
Matylda Krzykowski (Matandme blog) will is curating the CLASH project again this year.
Together with Matylda, FASHIONCLASH invited ten non-fashion designers to create an outfit for the catwalk.

ABKM SHOW
Sunday, June 12 is the special ABKM day, with fashion shows of the fashion and textile department of the Academy of Fine Arts Maastricht. ABKM show is as always a spectacular show with the work from 2nd and 3rd year fashion students and of course the graduation collections as a highlight.

THEATRE / PERFORMANCE
Two students from the Maastricht Theatre Academy also participate in the program, Dennis Vanderbroeck with a performance installation and Karel van Laere with a theatrical performance that will be shown on the catwalk.
