Hao-ni Tsai at FASHIONCLASH Maastricht 2012

Hao-ni Tsai presented 'Hybrids' at FASHIONCLASH Maastricht 2012. She is one of the designers that presented her work as well in the exhibition and the fashion show program.
Hao-Ni Tsai comes from Taipei (Taiwan). She graduated from Central Saint Martinsin MA in textile futures. At this moment she is based in London where she is started her label “NI HAO BY yuer ” this year.
In this project she explores the possibility of transforming both Western and indigenous Taiwanese fibers and craft techniques into innovative textiles through hybrid combinations. This cross-cultural approach aims at create a link between the East and West with a new contemporary aesthetic and to add value to an ancient textile craft.
