Marije de Haan SS2013 at Amsterdam Fashion Week

“That can haul up the sails that can swallow the moon. And he drinks, and he drinks, and he drinks once again.”
With this title, that comes from the song ' Port of Amsterdam ' by David Bowie, Marije de Haan created a life song with a dark edge for the society and one another great collection. Dedicated to the sweet misery, it's like a pyjama party with rough sailor gang members.
Marije says: "There is a dominated feeling of Pyjama party, as if the sailor man just rolled out of bed to the quay to drink rum".

Her fascination for the dark side of society manifests itself this time in an ode to sailors, see men and drunkards. In her show she used rough bearded, unkommon, tattooed models. The collection is a mixture of soft and rough elements.
