FAT| Arts & Fashion Week presents contemporary art and design through runway shows, performances, fashion films, photography exhibits and art installations. This annual event is a groundbreaking platform for up-and-coming talent, with work by artists and designers from Canada and around the world.
Recognized internationally, this multi-faceted festival combines the world of design, art and contemporary expression to establish progressive and dynamic ways of looking at fashion.

WHY: To celebrate and showcase innovative talent in fashion, art and design across Canada and around the world.
THEME: How does fashion impact the human condition? The |FAT| 2013 theme FASHION THERAPY examines aspects of the psyche which seek resolve through fashion. FASHION THERAPY will be presented across five days of programming based on the sub-themes: Drama, Craving, Escape, Crisis & Euphoria.
