D(esign)-day Maastricht is taking place for the 7th time and I went to check it out.
Of course 'fashion sihouettes' was the first thing that caught my attention. Product design department of ABKM (Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design) presented 'De Schoonheid der dingen' project.
A project by students and alumni from fashion, textile, product design and jewelry department based on the concept of hygiene.
Fashion and textile students created this coats for toilet misses with fabrics that were sponsored by Innofa.
The rest of the fair showcases product design, furniture, accessories and jewelry.
Foundation Platvorm is the intitiator of D-day. Their aim is to put design on a map in the Euregio by bringing together designers, clients and business.
