For the 14th edition of SALON/, presents the history, the craft and modern interpretations of lace. The event is presented in cooperation with Dutch lace art organisation LOKK (Landelijke Organisatie Kant Kunst). While lace from the 16th to 20th century from the LOKK Cultural Heritage collection appears on the museum’s ground floor, the period rooms feature work by students from Design Academy Eindhoven incorporating lace from Amsterdam Museum’s restoration studio in creations and objects.
DAE's Man and Identity students took the challenge to work with lace and this is what they did.
This exhibition is open until August 18th.
