Maison Martin Margiela x Converse

Maison Martin Margiela has wielded its avante-garde aesthetic onto the classic Converse sneaker, creating a shoe completely covered in the Belgian fashion house's iconic white paint.
The partnership takes Converse's timeless shoes (the Chuck Taylor All Star high-tops and the Jack Purcell sneakers, to be exact) and covers them in a coat of white paint. Over time, the paint is supposed to chip off to expose one of four colors (white, black, blue, or red) underneath. Both shoes will be available this month and will retail for $200.
