80 Designers. 18 Countries. No Borders. Just Passion | Zona Ventosa
TAC Eindoven presented during DDW 2013: Zona Ventosa.
Great ideas and concepts travel anywhere. Within this context of international mobility the Dutch Design philosophy has incredible momentum. Aspiring designers from all over the globe find their way to Eindhoven to study, to work and to connect. Some stay, many move on again, taking on the world with a new perspective.
Zona Ventosa zooms in on these dynamic exchanges by presenting the largest contingent of international design talents at DDW 2013.
Occupying the entire TAC building, Zona Ventosa hosts 22 exhibitions showing 80 designers from 17 countries. Participants include Wasatch Design Collective (USA), Hello Randomness (BE, DE, PT), Pepe Heykoop and Egbert-Jan Lam. One single route takes you through the maze of international design along skilfully crafted products and mesmerizing concepts. Have a look at some of the latest in material development and technical innovation and while you are at Zona Ventosa, get a new perspective on the way we consume our food! Zona Ventosa is presented by TAC Eindhoven, an international free zone for art, design & creativity hosting 60 start-up artists and creative entrepreneurs.
