Successful debut by a brand new Dutch label, Maison the Faux, on Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam
MAISON the FAUX is an affectionate reaction to the current fashion industry and a big faux wink in the direction of an audience, who feels liberated enough to move freely through a world which constantly forces us to think narrow minded.
Behind the label are Arnhem based designers Joris Suk & Hans Hutting, who with their team of six young and creative individuals are aiming to shake things up in the fashion scene, make way for young designers and create world domination for their own brand.
Both designers graduated from the department of Fashion Design at ArtEZ School of the Arts in Arnhem.
After their graduation MAISON the FAUX participated in the Much, Much collective and stormed off to Paris Fashion Week. Their guerilla fashion shows caught everyone’s attention, giving out a glimpse of their first collection.
