Dino Alvez SS2016 - ModaLisboa

Dino Alves unveiled his SS2016 collection in São Luiz Teatro Municipal, staging literally the most theatrical fashion presentation during the The Timers edition of ModaLisboa.

He presented a collection inspired by the creative process of the fashion designer that involves drawing out a concept, looking at it from afar, then scribbling it out in dissatisfaction, and crumpling the paper before throwing it in the trash. The simple act of scribbling and crumpling is a forms of art themselves.
The scribbling and crumpling effect is translated in the collection by creating pleats, drapes and applications.
