Rover | Roshanak Morrowatian in collaboration with Antoine Peters

“What is strength? Do I have to be loud in order to be powerful? As a highly sensitive, empathic, introverted and shy person, can I still call myself strong? Do you consider yourself strong? And on what do you base that on?”
Choreographer and dancer Roshanak Morrowatian started research for her upcoming dance performance ‘House of Strength’. A work focusing on her roots and the ancient Persian ritual of the Zurkhaneh. For the next phase of her research she invited audience to join an interactive workshop & talk that took place at Brandweerkantine.

“We welcome you for a moment of exchange. In a safe and respectful environment we will discuss the topic of the work, and explore and deepen our awareness and expression of strength, both in dialogue and movement. For this special occasion we have invited our team member and designer Antoine Peters to give some insight in the creative process of the performance. ”
