Acreati x Forza Fashion House XMAS Pop-Up showcased young fashion designers and photographer from December 1 - 18 in the Entre Deux shopping centre in Maastricht.
On the last day, there was an inspiring talk with the fashion photographer Valentina Vos.

The pop-up featured an outspoken selection of independent fashion designers together with contemporary photography. With a special storytelling approach Acreati introduced a new shopping experience, where you get an insight on designers’ collections through photography and art.

Featured designers where both local designers from Maastricht region such as Bluedenîmes, Ebby Port, Roche Rouge and  STRIKKS and international brands and designers such as ESP, marlich, MEES, Verena Schepperheyn, Narrative Made + Ratna Ho, Studio Mulder and Tomcsanyi.

Featured photographers: Berber Theunissen, Luca Pernini, Jeremy Audet, Ingeborg ten Hoopen (artist), Paula Faraco, TJ Tambellini, Saskia Boer, Pauline van Beusekom, Cat Stevens, Nina Raasch, Naomi White, Peter Holliday, Ling Lin and Samuel Zeller.

Looking for unique Christmas presents with a story? From Thursday 1st December untill Sunday 18th December, fashion platform Acreati will present its XMAS Pop-up Shop & Exhibition at Entre Deux (Level 2) in collaboration with Forza Fashion House Maastricht. Centrummanagement Maastricht will provide an interesting cultural program as part of the Magic Cultural Festival in Maastricht.
The pop-up will feature an outspoken selection of independent fashion designers together with contemporary photography. With a special storytelling approach Acreati and Forza Fashion House will introduce you to a new shopping experience, where you get an insight on designers’ collections through photography and art. Fashion photographer Valentina Vos (30)will be giving a Fashion Photography Talk on Sunday 18th of December at the XMAS Pop Up & Exhibition. Valentina studied at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts & Design. She has worked with various leading fashion magazines such as Glamour NL, L'Officiel NL, Glamcult, JFK Magazine, Vice, news papers suchs as Volkskrant and Het Parool, and companies Tommy Hilfiger, CitizenM Hotels, Men at Work, Hema, Ace & Tate and many more. She is known for her elegant polished fashion snapshots, combined with humor and originality.

During FASHIONCLASH Festival, Acreati will present its ‘Shop Through Visual Stories’ Pop-up Shop + Exhibition at the Brandweerkantine in Maastricht.

The Pop-up features Acreati’s unique curation of independent fashion designers together with the work of contemporary photographers. With a unique storytelling approach, Acreati introduces you to a new shopping experience where you get an insight of designers’ collections through photography and art.

FASHIONCLASH Festival 2016 - Program

The 8th edition of the international and multidisciplinary FASHIONCLASH Festival will take place from June 30th until July 3rd 2016.

During this sensational four-day festival, over 100 fashion designers and (performing) artists from 30 different countries and 6 continents can be discovered. -> participants

FASHIONCLASH Festival is a unique opportunity to get inspired by the art of fashion and to discover new talent. This festival’s theme for this year is HERITAGE: a celebration of cultural diversity!

The program consists of Fashion shows, Exhibitions, Performances, a Designer Market, Fashion Talks, Awards, MAFAD Graduation Show, and more.

Moreover, the festival’s program is connected to the theme HERITAGE, which will tie the festival’s content together by events such as the Heritage exhibition and a Heritage Show.

The festival serves a platform for a new generation designers and artists, and introduces a wide audience with the arts and crafts of a fashion related branch. FCF clearly illustrates the contemporary zeitgeist within the world of upcoming designers in an international setting. Its interdisciplinary collaboration projects, multidisciplinary exhibitions and shows, collaboration projects and the opportunity for the audience to be more engaged within the program is what gives FASHIONCLASH such a unique position within the international ‘fashion’ scene.

Entrance & Tickets
The exposition, designer market and most of the program can be accessed free of charge. Tickets for the fashion shows are available online from May 16th via www.fashionclash.nl, and during the festival tickets are still available at the main location (SAM-decorfabriek).
