FASHIONCLASH attended Dutch Week in Mauritius (15 – 20 June 2013).
FASHIONCLASH was invited to present one Dutch designer and two Dutch models. We selected designer Tessa Wagenvoort to present her collection in the program of the Fashion & Design Institute fashion event that took place on June 17th. Accompanying Tessa Wagenvoort were two Dutch models Lotte Berkelaar and Danila Pietersz.
Beside the fashion show we have initiated this fashion shoot with the photographer Lonneke van der Palen.
For this shoot we have used clothing of Tessa Wagenvoort and from students of the FDI Mauritius. The shoot took place in the mind blowing Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort.

Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort in Mauritius
HERITAGE LE TELFAIR GOLF & SPA RESORT is a member of the “Small Luxury Hotels of the World”.
Last week I have spent a memorable week in Mauritius. My stay in this wonderful paradise resort contributed in making this experience unforgettable. Everything was just right; breakfast, diner, the rooms, shower (the best shower cap), furniture, nature, trees, plants, birds, beach, swimingbool, bar, small tasteful details and not to forget the most kind and helpful employees.
Although this luxury may not be in your budget, it is not even in mine (I was just fortunate to be a guest), I highly recommend this resort.
This is an ideal place for couples, families and everyone looking for relaxing holidays combining the beach & nature in a romantic and elegant setting.
Named after the famous naturalist, Charles Telfair, who lived in the area in the 19th century, the hotel immerses you in a very special atmosphere, embodying the charm and romanticism of the past.
Nestled at the heart of the ‘Domaine de Bel Ombre’ on the unspoiled South coast of Mauritius, this elegant and refined hotel invites you to stay in a setting inspired by the Mauritian colonial architecture and style of the time.
The sublime 5-star establishment, infused with the charm of a colonial sugar plantation past, opens out onto a magnificent tropical garden through which the Citronniers River flows. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, decorated with fine white woodwork; all of which refers to the décor and interiors of Mauritius in the 19th century.
Here is a short glimpse of the resort, however the pictures are far from the real experience.
