you PARA|DISO
One of the highlight at Dutch Dance Festival 2011 in Maastricht. It's a pleasure for the eyes and scent, all well designed, beautiful solo's and music; l’essence de la danse.
Everything is white in this final section of the four-part work based on Dante’s La Divina Commedia. In you PARA|DISO, Emio Greco, Pieter C. Scholten and their dancers openly go in search of paradise. ‘Six strong personalities get their teeth into dance. They seduce us with their intensity and their tight, glittery costumes’. Ambiguity lies in waiting, and immeasurable bliss is accompanied by lifelessness in a paradise that is as beautiful as it is terrible.

you PARA | DISO was nominated for a Swan 'best dance production'

Have a look!

Concept en choreography: Emio Greco en Pieter C. Scholten Dance: Victor Callens, Dereck Cayla, Vincent Colomes, Neda Hadji-Mirzaei, Sawami Fukuoka, Suzan Tunca.
