Charlie Le Mindu show at Berlin Fashion Film Festival
Berlin Fashion Film Festival Award Show had another treat for the visitor, the spectacular show by Charlie Le Mindu who presented his Haute Coiffure AW 2013 Collection 'Gold Sabah'.
The show was held at a great offsite location 'Arena Glashaus.
This was a perfect extra for the already wonderful evening.
Charlie Le Mindu created this collection in collaboration with make-up artists and body painter Isamaya Ffrench. With this collection he returns his focus to the head and the traditions of Haute Coiffure.
The unusually designed head pieces were created out of finest real human hair and are inspired through a juxtaposition of traditional African tribal culture. Charlie le Mindu, teamed up with Atsuko Kudo to dress up the models in latex couture ensembles to showcase the collection.
This collaboration brings together two rising London based designers and artists, both known for their avant-garde creations and for providing looks for many of the world glamourous stars including Grace Jones, Beyonce, Rihanna and Lady Gaga.

Het Geluid Maastricht 'Life is too good to be true'
Last week Maastricht was marked by Festival CEMENT. I just saw few things and I am glad I finally saw 'Life is too good to be true' by Het Geluid Maastricht!
'Life is too good to be true' examines the role of truth in our contemporary (pop) culture. What begins as a portrait of a notorious liar, young American journalist Stephen Glass, becomes a tour along a group therapy session, some pink ribbons, a little Lady Gaga, lots of scary dogs, and a nightmare in a movie theatre. A tour through all the lies we tell ourselves today.
With 'Life is too good to be true / cacophony2', The Geluid Maastricht won jury and audience award during the Amsterdam Fringe Festival: the Dioraphte Amsterdam Fringe Award 2010.
