Nenukko Spring Summer 2014

NENUKKO clothing brand style is dedicated to individualists, referes to the unisexual simplicity and results from a creative attitude towards design. The authors' main purpose is the visual inventiveness and reaching beyond the classical stylistic conventions. In this way, fashion is understood as a multithreaded process of change, in which the authors inlude themselves preserving their own artistic vision.

The spring summer 2014 collection 'Quit' is a result of the revision of the designer's creative method.
"The similiar has vanished somewhere, hidden in the corners from what was not just 'simply different', but totally opposite, impossible to reconcile, or even mutially exclusive."(D.Maslowska, "Kochanie, zbilam nasze koty", Noir sur Blanc, 2012)

FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland 9th edition

FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland celebrated its 9th edition from 15- 20 October. This was the third time that I attended this wonderful event and this time it was very special as FASHIONCLASH is officially working together with FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland.
FASHIONCLASH presented the Dutch label Jivika Biervliet and label2 from Italy. Both shows where very cool and brought something fresh to the event.
In addition several fashion films from FASHIONCLASH Maastricht 2013 where screened in the Fashion Film Festival preview, such as Karel van Leare film and our film ASPIRE.

During the four days of stay in Łódź there was great company among international guests and lovely people behind this event. Next to the extensive fashion show programme and the Showroom  there where some great parties, from which K-Mag party ended as most memorable.

Coming back to the fashion shows, after seeing almost all shows some of the most memorable where the collections of Dawid Tomaszewski, Ima Mad, Herzlich Willkommen, Joanna Startek, Sowik Matyga, Nenukko, Aga Pou and Idio and Jakub Pieczarowski.
MMC Studio and Łukasz Jemioł Basic provided entertaining shows.

During this intense four-day visit to Poland I stayed at Andel's Hotel Łódź, which is always a highlight.  I love this hotel!

Here you can see some impressions of the event.
