Aspire is commissioned by FASHIONCLASH Maastricht 2013, international and interdisciplinary fashion event.

Aspire tells the story about the lives experienced by creatives. They can be considered nomads who are struggeling to survive and settle their camps from time to time. People around us are constantly influenced by each other. Aspire is based on FASHIONCLASH, a unique platform where aspiring, talented artists can present their work and get inspired by the art of fashion.

ASPIRE short film at Berlin Fashion Film Festival

Opening FASHIONCLASH Maastricht 2013

Last weekend FASCHIONCLASH celebrated its fifth anniversary by means of a spectacular program with shows, exhibition, performances by more than hundred designers from all over the world. FASHIONCLASH Maastricht was opened on the 31st of May with shows of regional top talent Tom Van der Borght, a performance of Dennis Vanderbroeck and Sarah Tulp, the Clash project and FASHIONCLASH film ‘Aspire’ made by Strictua.
For everybody who missed it, don’t be sad. The FASHIONCLASH side program lasts until Sunday the 9th of June.

 “FASHIONCLASH Maastricht” is an inspiring fashion event that shows the art of fashion in the broadest sense of the word. The idea of FASHIONCLASH Maastricht is to create an international and interdisciplinary event where upcoming designers and artists from various disciplines get the opportunity to present their work to a diverse international audience.

The program includes Fashion Shows, Exhibition, Theatrical Encounters, CLASH project, Parties, Berlin Fashion Film Festival 2012 screeings and FASHIONCLASH Side Program across several locations in Maastricht.

Beautiful world of Femke Agema

Beautiful portrait of a very special designer, Femke Agema.

Strictua followed Femke Agema in her process in praparation to FASHIONCLASH Maastricht 2012.

At the FASHIONCLASH Maastricht 2012 Femke showed a wearable playful collection. With her thinking about being total free she created the collection. The title for the collection is “Elders” that is the Dutch word for “Elsewhere”. It stands for the imaginative world that you can create building a hut.
Once again she presented her work in the exhibition as well as in the fashion show program.

Since the very first edition of FASHIONCLASH Maastricht in 2009 we were happy to have Femke Agema in the program and she keeps surprising with her bright, positive and authentic work.

Strictua captured the spirit of  Femke Agema's work in a beautiful little documentary.
