Dutch Fashion Designers on catwalk in New Delhi

The Dutch Fashion Here & Now event took place at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week  from 6-8 October. This is an unique collaborations between the key-players from Dutch and Indian fashion industry.
Highlight of the program was the spectacular catwalk show where capsule collections were presented that are developed by Bollywood's favorite designer Suneet Varma & Jan Taminiau and Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna  & * DIED *. The audience and the Indian press reacted with great excitment.
In addition to the catwalk show there was a program in which the first edition of Amsterdam Indigo Embassy and inspiring workshops of Ellis Faas, Team Peter Stigter and StarStuddedStudios were included.

Pauline van Dongen STEREOPSIS

Pauline van Dongen presented her new collection STEREOPSIS as part of winterSALON last weekend. http://www.paulinevandongen.nl

STEREOPSIS VIDEO
As the eyes of humans and other animals are in different positions on the head, they present different views simultaneously. This is the basis of stereopsis, the process by which the brain exploits the parallax due to the different views from the eye to gain depth perception and estimate distances to objects. The mesmerizing video is a preview of the womenswear collection Stereopsis, which explores this phenomenon.
§tereop§i§ is an exploration through an alien couture landscape, using echoes and ghosts to leave time in the residue of a digital harp performance. This combination of the universal based fashion of Pauline van Dongen and Champagne Valentine invites you into a backwards galaxy.

Thierry Mugler menswear fall winter 2011/2012

Thierry Mugler's new creative director Nicolla Formichetti and menswear designer Romain Kremer, debuted yesterday at Paris Fashion Week with fall-winter 11/12 menswear collection. The soundtrack for the show was an exclusive Lady GaGa track from her new album Born This Way.
