Kuppers/Wuytens at FASHIONCLASH Market

One of the paricipants at the 1st edition of FASHIONCLASH Market is the designer Jan Kuppers. Jan Kuppers is Master in Product Design. He graduated from the Art Academy in Genk, Belgium in 2001. He completed his studies in Sevilla, Spain. Together with Michael Verheyden he developed several collections, known as the 'kuppers&verheyden collections'. All his series are handmade with top quality materials. Besides his own series, he also designs industrial and exclusive products on customers desire.
The products from his 'kuppers' label breath quality and are timeless.  One of my favorite piece is the black belt without buckle. You can also order online.

Vincent Sterenberg

FASHIONCLASH Market showcased work of various young designers last weekend in Centre Ceramique in Maastricht.
One of the designers that took my attention is Vincent Sterenberg who graduated from ABK Maastricht last summer with the project Vitiligo. The products are made out of porcelain and leather and are reflecting on this skin disorder that Vincent is familiar with. With this project he translated his personal story into beautiful design and jewellery.

"Vitiligo is a visually striking skin disorder caused by depigmentation. This disposal creates questions, allowing me to create an interaction. This interaction is the key to my collection. From the interest in jewellery and products I created a collection that is different from estrangement."

designer Anna Zaboeva showcasing her brand
Pleasemachine in Paris at [C]Kult exhibition 5 & 6 November
Meet Anna Zaboeva was born in Siberia and based in Budepest Hungary where she has a shop called 'Siberia'.
She studied film making before moving to Hungary, to study at the school of industrial design. She started making shoes for herself and friends, and soon found she could not meet the growing demand for her designs so she created the brand Pleasemachine.
Pleasemachine shoes are unique and stylish, often created out of recycled materials.
