Explore Brač - Milnarski style

Smrka bay
Brač is just one of the splendid islands of Croatia.
Island Brač, the largest island of the central Dalmatian group of islands, the third largest among the Adriatic islands; area 394.57 sq km; population 13,824. It is separated from the mainland by the Brac Channel, from the island of Solta by the so-called Splitska Vrata (Split Gate) and from the Island of Hvar by the Hvar Channel.
The highest peak of the island, Vidova Gora (Vitus' Mount) (778 m), is also the highest peak of all Croatian islands. The limestone part of the coast is rocky and steep, while the rest is rather low and sandy (on the southern side from Farska to Bol, and on the northern side from Sutivan to Supetar).

Although Bol may be the most popular place on the island, there are more precious treasures to discover such as the hidden bay of Smrka (see the images in the post).
Best way to discover the raw beauty of Brač is with Milnarski 'Explore Brač Island Tour'.

C'est Vrai ou C'est FAUX?

MAISON the FAUX brought backstage to frontstage at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam.

Instead of a traditional catwalk show they have installed a backstage on the frontstage. All typical backstage cliches where present and enlarged as a kind of performance with clothing racks, fitters, models waiting in line, hectic clothing changes, photographers taking beauty shots etc. It is all very exciting and refreshing.

MAISON the FAUX aspires to be an affectionate reaction to the current fashion industry and a big faux wink in the direction of an audience liberated enough to move freely through an often narrow-minded world.
The ‘Human Wear’ created by MAISON the FAUX is independent of gender or season. The fashion house seeks to be more than just a label, it aspires to be a lifestyle. ‘The Fictional House’, a rough translation of MAISON the FAUX, is rooted in a great sense of humour and self-mockery, combined with a deep love of fashion.

It all started in July 2013, when designers Joris Suk, Tessa de Boer & Hans Hutting graduated from the department of Fashion Design (BA) at ArtEZ School of the Arts in Arnhem; the birthplace of MAISON the FAUX.

Hello Fashion! Monique van Heist

In 2009, Dutch designer Monique van Heist launched Hello Fashion, a personal way to present and run moniquevanheist. Hellofashion is a continuous collection of ‘moniquevanheist’ classics by which she sets out to challenge the fashion system. This permanent and over time growing collection of garments, accessories and lifestyle products like furniture, make-up advice and even recipes, will be available for unlimited time.
Hellofashion cuts across the fashion system’s usual cycle by adding new products to the collection at any given time. The Hellofashion project comes with a loose-leaf catalogue. with each new product launch a supplement will be released. This way the hellofashion catalogue will amount to an interesting ‘moniquevanheist’ overview and keepsake object.

This morning I went through the cataloque again and here is a just small selection of some items I would like to have from Hellofashion. Take a look at the collection and the catalogue with very nice pictures.
