Viviane Sassen spent part of her youth in Kenya where her father was a doctor, and her earliest memories date from this time. She began her career as an artist and fashion photographer, before returning to the continent of her childhood in 2002. Since then, Africa has become the sole object of her photographic work.

Salon/1

SALON/1 presented fashion, design and art at various locations in Amsterdam from 15th-18th July 2010.
I've not been able to visit it all the locations during my two days in Amsterdam but here is a selection of few highlights. My personal favorite was the presentation in Museum van Loon!
