The Desktoop provides a place for working and growing. The drawers under the desk which are often redundant because we are using less and less paper, appeared easy to convert into greenhouse using LED grow lights. Nienke Sybrandy (designer) is working at the Kazerne Labaratory with Jasper den Besten (lecturer in new cultivation systems HAS University of Applied Science), among others, on a do-it-yourself Desktoop package, a new harvesting calender, an international knowledge platform and she is also researching the term 'natural'.
