After several years of commercial experience fashion designers Philipp Schueller and Rens de Waal decided to join forces and explore new grounds. The urge to pair their commercial knowledge with their own creative vision led them to launch their own line SCHUELLER DE WAAL.
During Paris Fashion Week the brand debuted with their Spring/Summer 2015 collection at the beautiful venue of the Atelier Néerlandais as part of SAUCE HOLLANDAISE COLLECTIVE.
The collection S/S15 originates from an eclectic pool of sources intricately combined into a bold aesthetic merging clashing elements with a romantic hint of surrealism and sci-fi. The mix of contrasting textures and colours rebuilt into surprising dress shapes, combined with playful ideas of print, embellishment and finishings, serves for a fresh view on Occasion wear; a subject that SCHUELLER DE WAAL is determined to revive.
