Delikatessen AW 12/13‏ collection

I was very pleased to receive the lookbook from Delikatessen. The name of the collection is 'Tomato'. Andrzej Lisowski, the designer behind the label, explained the title.

"The "tomato" is on one hand my "no" to all sort of hoity-toity big names of the collections... On the other hand, indeed, I spent all my summer growing tomatoes and cultivating my garden and I used in the collection a lot of earthy blues, dye-over effects in fabrics, and rich hues of aubergine and green. It is more abstract and on the level of emotions."

Delikatessen AW 12/13 collection features slim taloringslim tailoring, and a refined color blocking.

For the AW 12/13 the designer applies hues of emerald green, burgundy, and various blues. The intense palette of colors is darkened with a drop of gray. In this way the designer comes up with a colorful, however pared-down silouette. Delikatessen brand stands for playful and wearable menswear with daring color use and color blocking.

The entire Delikatessen collection is prewashed and pre-shrinked. The world renowned Giza 87 and Mako are at the base of all Delikatessen cottons, the softest available yarns in the world. The lookbook is shot with model Pat Pietrzak who just did ss2012 shoot with Laurence Ellis for Topman
