Bola, a brand by Ola Bajer has been around in the Polish fashion scene for some years now. As I remember my first encounter with the brand was in the Off Out of Schedule programme of FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland. The brand is growing and this time the designer really took the stage with a very strong collection. The SS 2015 'fylgir' collection (Icelandic for "inseparable") was inspired by the concept of organic. Organic, as in belonging to the animals or plants, but also in the sense of tightly interconnected. The collection is a good mix of various techniques such as the use of prints, applications and mixture in the of textiles namely cotton, wool, chiffon and silk. What I also liked about this collection is that it was a complete story containing a variety in garments, proportions and suitable styling.
