New Grounds - experimental film and video art

Viewmaster Projects and Video Power joined forces for New Grounds, an exhibition that shows many interpretations of the fall, and the playful ways in which video artists relate to their environment after landing on new grounds.

Main venue is the first floor of the renovated Kunstfront building in Maastricht. Eleven works temporarily transform the former Radium office and squatter art house into an exhibition zone. Another works are presented in Bureau Europa and Limestone Books.

The exhibition is a collaboration between Viewmaster Projects and Video Power, two media art initiatives based in Maastricht. New Grounds is affiliated with Transitions, a festival for adventurous filmmaking, organised by Video Power from 10-12 Oct in Lumière.
